These Payment, Refund, Cancellation & Dispute Policy form an integral and enforceable part of the Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) of the Platform and should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions, other Policies, Guide Policies.
This Policy governs the financial and transactional relationship between users and Vesselglobe. Vesselglobe is not a party to any transaction conducted directly between users and assumes no responsibility or liability for such third-party dealings.
1. Payment
1.1 All payments on the Vesselglobe platform are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted global payment provider. Vesselglobe does not store or have direct access to your full payment details.
By completing a payment, you authorize:
- Stripe, to process the transaction using your selected payment method; and
- Vesselglobe, to receive the payment for the services you are purchasing.
Your chosen payment method (such as credit, debit card or any other) will be charged once you confirm the transaction.
1.2 Applicable fees include but are not limited to subscription fees, listing fees, and credit purchases by the users. Full details are provided at the time of each transaction.
1.3 Vesselglobe does not charge any commission or transaction fee on vessel sales conducted between users.
1.4 All fees are payable in the currency specified at the time of transaction. Users are responsible for any additional charges imposed by their bank or card issuer.
2. Pricing and Billing Terms
Vesselglobe operates on a subscription-based pricing structure.
Users, including but not limited to Ship Owners, Service Providers, and Crew Providers, are required to pay recurring fees in exchange for access to selected features and services on the Platform.
All fees are quoted in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise stated, and are exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).
2.3 Listing Credits
Listing Credits are prepaid units purchased by users on the Vesselglobe platform that allow them to create and publish vessel listings or other content on the Dash Board or marketplace. Each Listing Credit corresponds to the right to post two posts listing (or as otherwise specified at the time of purchase). Listing Credits have no monetary value outside the platform, are non-refundable once purchased; however, if a listing is rejected by the platform administrator, the user will not lose the associated credit, it will be available for reuse. Listing Credit may not be transferred, resold, or exchanged for cash.
3.Subscription Plans
Multiple subscription plans are offered (Free, Standard, Premium and Advanced), each with different levels of access, features, and limits.

4. Billing Cycle and Payments
4.1 Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, or annually), based on the User’s selection during registration or upgrade.
4.2 All payments are due in advance of each billing cycle.
4. Value Added Tax (VAT)
4.1 The Platform is registered with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and will issue VAT-compliant invoices for all transactions.
4.2 In accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. (8) of 2017 on Value Added Tax and related implementing regulations, a 5% VAT will be applied to all taxable subscription services provided by the Platform.
5. Automatic Renewal
5.1 All subscriptions will be automatically renewed at the end of the applicable billing period unless canceled in advance by the User. Subscribers may opt out of automatic renewal by using the designated cancellation mechanism prior to the renewal date.
5.2 Upon the expiration of a monthly subscription, all user listings and added vessels shall be suspended and remain inaccessible until such time as the subscription is renewed.
5.3 By subscribing, the User authorizes the Platform to charge the selected payment method on a recurring basis, inclusive of VAT.
6. Modification of Subscription Plan (Upgrade or Downgrade)
- Upgrade: If a Subscriber upgrades to a higher-tier subscription plan, the portion of the current plan already used shall be calculated on a pro-rata basis and credited toward the cost of the new plan.
- Downgrade: If a Subscriber wishes to downgrade to a lower-tier plan, the change will take effect only after the full term of the current subscription has expired. The downgraded plan will commence on the next renewal date, and all features of the existing plan will remain active until that time.
7. Refund Policy
7.1 Subscription Fees
7.1.1 Subscription Fees may be refunded within seven (7) days from the date of subscription.
After this period, refunds will only be granted in the following cases:
- The subscribed service was not delivered; or
- A verified technical issue prevented the user from accessing the service.
A technical issue will be considered “verified” only when the user provides evidence, such as contacting Vesselglobe Customer Support and receiving confirmation of the issue.
7.1.2 No refunds will be issued for partial use of a subscription period or after the 7-day cancellation period stated. Partial use includes, but is not limited to, any activity such as posting a listing on the Dash Board, performing vessel searches, or accessing any subscriber-only features during the active subscription period. However, first-time users who are eligible for a free service trial. First-time users may still request a refund within the 7-day cancellation period, provided they have not exceeded the permitted number of trial actions.
7.1.3 Transaction Fees
In the event a refund is approved under this policy, any applicable transaction or processing fees charged by the bank and/or electronic payment gateways shall be deducted from the refunded amount. The remaining balance will be returned to the original payment method.
8. User-to-User Transactions (e.g., Vessel Sales, Charters)
Vesselglobe does not handle payments or hold funds for transactions such as vessel sales, charters, or crew hires between users. Accordingly, Vesselglobe shall not issue refunds for any disputes or failed transactions occurring between users. Users are solely responsible for managing and securing such transactions.
9. Cancellation Policy
9.1 Account Deletion and Deactivation
9.1.1 Users may delete or deactivate their Vesselglobe accounts at any time through the account settings or by contacting customer support.
9.1.2 Deletion or deactivation does not entitle the user to a refund of any subscription fees already paid. Users will retain access to Vesselglobe services until the end of their current billing period.
9.1.3 To the extent permitted by applicable law, all payments are non-refundable after a period of seven (7) days from the date of purchase. Vesselglobe does not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or for periods of non-use following deactivation or deletion.
10. Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy Update
We may update the Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect changes in legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this platform, and the user will be notified via email of significant changes
